First way-
1) Decide on food-usually spaghetti or soups are good and
inexpensive-deserts and tea
2) Ask local grocer to donate to event
3) Sell tickets for five dollars
4) Have
donation bucket
5) Sale
table with bracelets, t-shirts, and cookbooks

2) Ask family, friends etc... to donate pre-made dishes

(You can also have silent auction at these types of
events)
This
is very similar to the church dinner only it is a free event. You raise
the money through the silent auction. So on this one you just get people
to donate dessert items and have coffee or tea. Then get business to
donate items for the auction.
Not very difficult. You will also need volunteers for this
event to man the silent auction tables and even the donation buckets.
It’s always good to have a table set up for extra sales
too. (T-shirts, bracelets, cookbooks, candy bars, etc.)
