First Option:
- Decide on food. Spaghetti or soups are inexpensive ideas. Desserts, drinks.
- Ask local grocer to donate to event
- Sell tickets for five dollars
- Have donation bucket
- Table with bracelets, t-shirts, and cookbooks, or other items
Second Option:
- Same as above
- Ask family, friends etc… to donate pre-made dishes
- Sell tickets for five dollars
- Have donation bucket
- Table with bracelets, t-shirts, and cookbooks, or other items
(You can also have silent auction at these types of events)
Coffee House/Silent Auction
This is very similar to the church dinner only it is a free event. You raise the money through the silent auction. Ask people to donate dessert items and have coffee or tea. Get businesses to donate items for the auction.
You will also need volunteers for this event to man the silent auction tables and even the donation buckets.
It’s always good to have a table set up for extra sales too. (T-shirts, bracelets, cookbooks, candy bars, etc.)
